The Ealing Cabinet met on the 11th February 2026 with regards to the Decision maker: Cabinet E-Bike Enforcement Policy.
This report outlines a proposed change in the council’s regulatory regime, regarding enforcement of mis-parked, obstructive dockless rental e-bikes, and seeks approval of an enforcement policy with protocols for permitted or unpermitted e-bikes. This is in response to issues related to obstructive e-bike parking from multiple operators.

Agrees to the implementation of the E-Bike Enforcement Procedure for a six
month pilot period;
Delegates authority to the Strategic Director, Housing & Environment to continue the E-Bike Enforcement Procedure following the pilot period.
