Successfully campaigned against a proposed bus depot on the A40 corner that would have increased traffic and pollution. The decision to refuse was upheld at the public inquiry in 2006.

West Acton Resident Association has been the voice of residents for decades. We work tirelessly to protect and enhance our neighbourhood, ensuring that West Acton remains a wonderful place to live for all residents.
Our Mission
To represent and protect the interests of West Acton residents, ensuring their voices are heard on local issues that affect our community.
What We Do
We monitor local developments, support residents with planning objections, and maintain regular dialogue with Ealing Council on behalf of our members.

WARA has successfully campaigned on behalf of residents on numerous important issues. Here are some of our key victories that have helped preserve West Acton's character.
Blocked Hotel Development
Stopped inappropriate hotel development along the A40 - Gypsy Corner site between Park View, Cloister Road and Horn Lane on the A40, preserving residential character. This is the site WARA was not successful in stopping the Barratt London Royal Gateway development.
